Ballet / Lyrical
This class blends the strength and structure of ballet with the fluid, expressive style of lyrical dance. Dancers will build solid ballet technique—like proper posture, turns, extensions & terminology —while learning to move with emotion and tell a story through music. It’s the perfect combination of discipline and creativity, helping dancers grow in both skill and artistry.

Acro Gymnastics
This high-energy class blends dance with acrobatic and gymnastic elements, focusing on strength, flexibility, and control. Dancers will learn skills such as walkovers, aerials, handstands, and partner tricks, all while connecting movement seamlessly into choreography. Great for students who love tumbling and want to improve their athleticism and body awareness.

Tap
Tap is where rhythm meets movement! This class teaches dancers to become musicians with their feet, exploring timing, musicality, and percussive footwork. Students will develop both Broadway-style tap and rhythm tap skills, learning how to create clean sounds and dynamic patterns.

Jazz - Hip HOp - Musical Theater
-Jazz Jazz is full of sharp lines, dynamic movements, and expressive choreography. Dancers build flexibility, strength, and technique with turns, jumps, and combinations that challenge and inspire. - Hip Hop Hip Hop brings freestyle, rhythm, and bold attitude to the dance floor. This class focuses on musicality, footwork, and confidence in a fun, high-energy setting! -Musical Theater Dance Bring the stage to life! In this energetic and expressive class, dancers combine jazz technique with storytelling, facial expressions, and theatrical flair. From Broadway hits to character-driven choreography, students will learn how to perform with confidence, emotion, and style. Perfect for dancers who love to act, sing, and dance — no singing required, just lots of personality! Great for building stage presence, performance quality, and confidence!

Dancers will learn basic cheer motions, chants, jumps, and pom dance choreography—all with a fun team spirit. With a focus on sharp movements, rhythm, and enthusiasm, this class builds coordination, confidence, and performance skills.

Competative team

The PWSD Competitive Team is for dedicated dancers who wish to further their training while representing our studio both on and off the stage. Team members enjoy additional performance opportunities throughout the season and strive to be ambassadors of excellence, character, and grace. Dancers must have completed one full season at PWSD before auditioning.
